Thank God, I was raised in a Christian family. Besides going to the Sunday school on Sunday, I remember that since I was a little child we’ve always read the Bible as a family following a students’ book for the kids our age. It was during one of this little studies that I gave my life to Jesus. After asking Him to forgive my sin and thanking Him for giving His only Son to die on a cross because of me, my little heart felt deep joy and peace. One day I faced my schoolmates and I realized that not everybody believed in the same God I knew. So I gradually began to have doubts and often a voice said to me: “Among all the religions upon this earth, you really think yours is the right one?!”I confessed it to my mother and she told me I had to convince myself I was not following a religion, actually the true living God.

I just had to turn to Him and He’d have showed me the way. This way I would have had the proof of it and the absolute certainty. So I prayed the Lord with all my heart and even before I was finished, the heat of His love for me and the sureness of His forgiveness made my heart rejoice. My little faith made a step onwards. It’s 10 years now since that day and I went along.

In Philippians 1:6 it’s written: “Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

Now I’m happily married and I have two kids and I can say along with my husband that we had the honor to experience the promise Jesus made:

“And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”(Matthew 28:20)

Maybe you’re going through a hard time in your life that’s trying your faith. Never forget:

No temptationhas overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it”.(1 Corinthians 10:13)

Or maybe you don’t know Jesus as your Savior yet? He says: “

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”(Matthew 11:28)

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”. (Philippians 4:6-7)
